Day #5
Today I am thankful for modern medicine and doctors who are trained to help us in our time of physical need.
We had a really big day at church yesterday. First of all, we had 259 in the morning worship. Then three guys that go to Crown College in Knoxville, TN were home and two have been called to preach. Each of them gave us a short message last night and the third gave us his testimony. What a blessing young people are when they are sold out to God.
We also had what we called McSunday. The children who ride our busses were treated to lunch from McDonald's after the morning service. Some of these children dont have a lunch when they get home from church. The local McDonald's didnt have enough seating, so they brought the meals to our youth center....there were over 100!
God blesses us so that we can bless
others.
Praying for you this morning, Linda!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a wonderful start to your Sunday, and God bless those who provided for the lunch, so the youngsters wouldn't go home hungry!
Let us know how you are later today, please! Hugs.
I hope you feel better soon. I think it's wonderful that your church keeps children from being hungry. Hugs you. Children shouldn't go hungry. It's something they never forget. What a great ministry.
ReplyDeleteWhat an uplifting post about the two men called to preach and the McSunday meal for the kids as well. I hope the epidural works well for you and you have some relief from your pain. Continued thoughts and prayers coming your way.
