The  story behind this picture is this:

Every day - at  the same time - she waits on the roof for him.  He comes... and they  go for a walk.
Great to have friends like this. No  words needed. They just intuitively recognize the value of  each other in their lives and act  accordingly.
Maybe we could all get along despite our differences, if we just gave it a chance.

Happiness  is to have a
friend to walk  with.........

Day #15, I am so thankful to have friends, especially those that I can just be with and no words needed.

A Happy Friday to you!  Do you have special plans for the weekend?  We will probably ride through the Battlefield this evening, and then we have some collard greens from the garden that we cooked yesterday, some left over mac and cheese and some hot cornbread for supper tonight.

Tomorrow I am so thankful for a lady that is coming to clean our house - deep cleaning that I can no longer seem to accomplish, and be ready for the holidays.  We will go to another basketball game where our granddaughter is playing.

Speaking of, Aryn's team lost the game last night, but she scored 1/2 of the points for her team, had 6 rebounds, and 3 steals.  It was sad to lose, but a good practice game to begin the season and it didn't count against their District games.  What most people don't realize is that she is just a freshman and the youngest person on the team.  The only place she can go is up!

Win or lose, we are so proud that she gives her all in each and every game!

I made a recipe from Pinterest last night and it is great, and most importantly, it is super-super easy!

Crescent Roll Apple Pies.........

1 can crescent rolls
sliced apples
cinnamon & sugar

Roll out, place a slice of apple (with peeling still on) on roll, sprinkle with cinnamon & sugar and bake according to directions on can.  I put extra cinnamon and sugar on each after rolled up.
They were super yummy last night, and good this morning with my coffee!

If you’re looking for a hero, let me suggest mine to you if you don’t have one. His name is Jesus.
Revelation 19:16 says: "And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, King Of Kings, And Lord Of Lords."

  4. I've heard from a couple of different people that they have made new friends recently, I'm happy for them. I like your saying...Happiness is to have a friend to walk with, I agree. I'm thankful for my friends who have shown themselves to be faithful...it's too bad more can't be that way.
