Day #9 I am thankful for little things. The big things come and go, but the little things are my constant. A coffee maker that works every morning; a kitty that wants me to love her first thing in the mornings; heat when it is cold, air when it is hot; and the ability to still be able to drive and enjoy the beauty of each season of the year. We will be on top of another mountain today and we are hoping for some more beauty to enjoy.
At this time of year, everything seems to be "pumpkin" and I love it! One of my daughters gave me some Dunkin' Donuts Pumpkin coffee for my birthday, and another daughter mentioned some Ben and Jerry's pumpkin cheesecake ice cream.............yummmm
Speaking of pumpkin cheesecake, that is one of the desserts that my son makes for our Thanksgiving meal. He is a cheesecake whiz!
Bet you didn't know.............
How many cloud droplets does it take to form an average
raindrop?
15,600,000.
Faith is not a hunch. Faith is not positive thinking. Faith is not believing everything will work out. Faith is taking God at His word. Romans 5:1 says, "Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ."
Good morning, Linda! You are on the road as I write this, but I whispered a prayer for safe travels! Hope the celebration is fun today! Many of the local restaurants are offering a free meal to Vets on Monday. Last year, we tried to go to Applebee's, but it was packed with a line out the door. We decided it wasn't worth $10.00 to wait. It IS nice that our Vets are recognized, however. A sacrifice we can never repay with free meals! God bless our Veterans!
ReplyDeleteI'm not into pumpkin. One piece of pumpkin pie on Thanksgiving does me for a year.
Good morning, have a great day!
ReplyDeleteI'm like Terri when it comes to pumpkin. :(
