HELLO!

No news today, other than I am still in severe pain.  Would appreciate prayers for healing.

From my devotions today:

What is our great need in the world today? Is it information? No, we’re drowning in a sea of information. If it is information that we needed, God would have sent us an educator.

What is the need in our world today? Is it technology? No, we’re afraid of our technology today. If technology had been the need, God would have sent a scientist.

What is the need in our world? Is it money? No. Do you think your problems would be solved if you had more money? If money had been the need, God would have sent an economist.

Do you think our need is more leisure? Maybe God should have sent an entertainer.

No—our great need is salvation. And so God sent a Savior.
“And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour …”

Yes, He is a Savior — “a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord” (Luke 2:10-11)

  1. Amen.

So sorry you are still in pain!! I hesitate to mention it, but my knee MIGHT be a tad bit better this morning. I used ice on it last night, for about an hour. Will continue with that plan and see if it helps. I know ice won't help your sciatica. Would a chiropractor be able to help? This is not the time of year anyone needs to be in pain and not able to move around (well, no time is good for that, but...). You remain in my prayers!!

  3. I was hoping also that you might be better today. You (and Terri) are in my prayers. I pray both of you ladies will be pain free very shortly.
Those verses in Luke 2 give me such joy and comfort that my heart and spirit feel the warmth. (does that make sense?) There's really no way to describe it.
You take care and have a good day.
