THIS AND THAT!
Kate and William are to be parents. I never had the sickness that some women do, but it has to be just the worst thing. She must be really bad to be in the hospital. I wish the Royal family all the best in the birth of a new heir.
I took the advice from several of my blog friends, and lo and behold, no leg or foot cramps last night. I have a bar of soap under the bottom sheet on the bed; I had a glass of milk right before I "hit the hay", and I drank approximately 2 L of water on and off during the day yesterday. Since it worked one night, I plan to repeat again today. Thanks for the suggestions!
Basketball tonight. Jim isn't feeling well, and not up to going. It is out of town and about a 30-45 minute drive, so I am going to my daughter's house, and ride with her. The team they are going to play is a powerhouse and beat us "big time" last year, so don't know what to expect this time around. Fingers crossed for team!
There
comes a time in life, when you walk away from all the drama and people who
create it. You surround yourself with people who make you laugh, forget the bad,
and focus on the good. So, love the people who treat you right. Think good
thoughts for the ones who don't. Life is too short to be anything but happy.
Falling down is part of LIFE...Getting back up is
LIVING...
Go team!! Good luck aryn an team!! Hope you have fun. Congrats to the royals. I hope she's feeling better. I had terrible sickness with my first one so can relate. It's great to here the home remedies helped you feel better. Happy Tuesday :)
ReplyDeleteYes - good luck to Aryn and her team tonight! Glad you can catch a ride. That's a long way to travel alone at night. Hope Jim feels better soon!
ReplyDeleteVery cool that the leg-cramp tips are working. Since you tried them all, though, we don't really know which one is best....so doing them all works!
A very true statement you made: "Falling down is part of LIFE...Getting back up is LIVING..."
Have a good day, dear friend!
I am glad too that I dont have to drive tonight. Leigh lives on top of a mountain, and we have to go down the back of that one to the little town below, and then of course back up when game is over. I do have to drive down her mountain to home, but I am used to that one, and it is supposed to rain on top of all that....lol Have a good day my friend....hope your heel gets better every day.
DeleteSo happy that that the tips worked and you enjoyed an night free of cramps! GOOD luck to Aryn and her team! Hopefully they can be on the winning side this time around!! I hope Jim feels better soon. What is bothering him? My mom had a stomach issues yesterday but is feeling better this morning. Have a great week, Linda!
ReplyDeleteJim is a "hard head" when it comes to being sick. I ask and he says, oh Linda, I dont know. I have been with him long enough to know - hush! He will tell me or ask me what to do, and I just have to wait him out. Personally, they doubled his pain patch and I think that might be it. He wants to sleep all the time, and staggers more than ususal. The medication in the patch is VERY STRONG. Doubly it could be the culprit. As for the stomach issues, there is an epidemic in the south for that type flu bug....hopefully that isnt what is wrong with Jim....so many are suffering with it.
DeleteHope your day is a good one my friend.
Glad you had a better nights sleep. As for your quote drama is draining . There's enough of it in everyday life at some point or another just living long enough and or having children (grown ones definately included!) Trying to learn to put things in God's hands and rest in His grace because I can't do everything
ReplyDeletePrayers for you and for Jim
I hope they didn't release the information on the baby too soon. She's only 3 weeks along. If she's that sick, it doesn't sound good. Praying her poor little baby will be ok.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you had a full night's rest with no leg cramps.
Hope the girls play a great game tonight. But so sorry Jim isn't feeling up to going. Hope he gets better real soon.
Take care. Have a good day.
