RAIN, RAIN, GO AWAY, LITTLE LINDA WANTS TO PLAY....AND GO TO CHURCH!

I am so thankful that I can go to church this morning and worship my Lord and Savior with people of like mind.  It has been three weeks since I was able to go and I missed it so much.  I know you don't have to go to a church to be a Christian or believer in Christ, but for me, it is an important part of my life.  I get "fed" from the Word of God, I can pray with and for others, and feel I grow in the Lord by going there.

I get hugs from a teenage girl that I became friends with, I hug my Pastor's wife and feel the love she sends out, I can sing the songs that give praise to God, and laugh and cry.  Can you tell it is a happy place for me?  In my church we are all on the same level.  I respect my Pastor and the Deacons, but am comfortable talking to them, laughing, teasing and just being good friends.

We went to Grayce's soccer game yesterday and her team won!  She plays on a travel soccer team and in the winter, they play indoors.  Sure makes it nice to sit in chairs, not bleachers, and be comfortable and warm. Her sister, Aryn, has a boyfriend who also plays soccer, both school and travel, and he went to see Grayce play too!  I think she felt good to know he would come to watch her.

Time to sign out and get some breakfast and then ready for church.  Have a super, duper day, whatever you plan to do.

Winter must be cold for those with no warm memories.

  1. You sound SO good Linda! Praise God that the epidural worked again and you can get out and go - especially to your precious church. Your grandgirls are both so talented...such good athletes! Boyfriends...oh my. Wouldn't you like to put that off until they are 25?! LOL Have a delightful day!

  3. It's so nice to hear all your good news. Aryn is doing better and her sister is enjoying her soccer. And you are getting your life back without that horrible pain. You are so fortunate to have a church and a church family like you do.
