This is going to be a "picture" type blog. Jim and I took a drive yesterday afternoon up and around the lake on the top of the mountain behind our house. As we were going down the other side, I stopped in the middle of the road to take a picture of a stream...
Jesse came over and said he was going to live with us because his Dad wouldn't re-charge his tractor. Check the sad face...
The fact was that he had company and a friend was riding his tractor and he couldn't get to it! After the friend left, and Jesse was back on the tractor, he said he was just kidding, he wasn't moving in with us! lol
Rayven has taught herself to play the guitar. She is such a pretty young lady, but thinks she isn't....I guess at 14,everybody but you, is pretty!
Grayce's soccer team played on Saturday and they won 1-0!
So my holiday will consist of laundry, running the vacuum and getting ready for the week!
Tomorrow at noon, I have a Sunday School Class meeting and then tomorrow night, Aryn has a basketball game.
Will have the TV on to that but will only watch occasionally if I hear something interesting.
ReplyDeleteLove the Morning Prayer. Can relate.
I am sure all who read my blog entry wont agree, and thats ok....we are all different, but I just cant stand to look at the man and all the hoop-la that I dont agree with. Sorry to all the Obama supporters....it is me I am speaking for and no one else. I realize he is the President of my country and I highly respect the office...period.
ReplyDeleteGood morning, Linda. I am at work, so don't have to worry about watching today's fake swearing in. The 'real' one was yesterday, and didn't cost the tax payers too much. Today's big event is another story. All hoopla. I'm with you, I can't stand to look at him. He is destroying America.
ReplyDeleteGood luck to Aryn and her team! Nice that Grayce's soccer team won their game, and wonderful that Rayven taught herself to play guitar. That's quite an accomplishment! She is beautiful - you are right about those difficult teen years. Jesse is so funny! How cute is that little boy!! Love the stream. I can almost hear the water flowing over the rocks!! Enjoy the rest of you day!
....that's YOUR day!
Deletelol, I have too many really important things to think about other than the fan fare in Washington. Theresa and her surgery, your knees, Jim, a couple in my church suffering two surgeries each and their rehab, taxes, what's for supper, and many others....lol Love you.
DeleteI love pictures. Rayven is a very pretty girl. 14 is a hard age... you feel like you've grown up, but parents say you're still a little girl. And the hormones! Enough said.
ReplyDeleteYou got some very nice photos on your drive. I could almost hear the water.
I didn't watch the festivities in DC either. It's all hooplaa. Not celebrating here... I'm in mourning.
Hope you're having a great day.
I had to laugh at Jessie saying he was going to move in with you and his little pout is just so precious! Yay! for Grayce and her team winning their soccer game! Rayven is so beautiful, her smile is magical! I think it is so cool that she is teaching herself how to play the guitar! Good luck to Aryn and her team! P.S. I love the pictures you posted..you have such a beautiful and happy family!
