NEW WEEK!

Morning!  Notice I didn't say "good" morning.  I had a rough night.  Leg cramps had me up walking most of the night.  I had 3 bouts and the last one about "did me in".  I honestly thought I was going to pass out and couldn't get the cramp to subside.  I massaged, I walked and didn't know what else to do.  Every time I stopped, from my ankle down, my whole foot would turn sideways with the cramping.  Do any of you have this problem, and if so, what do you do?  I try to make sure I have enough potassium and magnesium during each day, but obviously something else is needed.

On another note, much more fun.........My 5 year old grandson had his first experience at bowling!  His sister was invited to a bowling birthday party and he got to tag along!  He loved it!

He is growing up entirely too fast, but is one of those kids who is willing to try anything, and is happy 90% of the time!

Had an absolutely wonderful day at church yesterday.  We had a visiting pastor and he was very plain, funny, and certainly kept our attention and brought such good messages - reminders of God's love if you will.

Our youth dept. had a spaghetti dinner following the morning service, to benefit their upcoming missions trip to Guyana, and we were told last night that it raised $1,100.00!!!  That is the first of many events to come for them.

Fellowship with Christ is the secret
of happiness now and forever.

  1. That must have been some good spaghetti! Wow! A great start to financing their mission trip!

So sorry about your leg cramps. I rarely have leg cramps, but when I do it is because I didn't have enough water during the day. Sounds like you are on top of the potassium and magnesium, so I really have no idea what else you could try. Hugs & prayers.

Jesse is such a great kid!! It will be fun seeing him grow up, so keep posting about him and the girls!! You have terrific grandkids!

  2. Those cramps sound miserable. I occasionally get them but a quick stand up and they are gone. Hope someone else has a solution for you. If they keep up, I'd definitely see a doctor.
Impressive that your grand kid can even lift the bowling ball. What a cutie.

  3. I had trouble getting your page to load correctly. And I couldn't leave a comment. So I'm back for another try. It seems ok now.
Sorry to hear you're having leg cramps again. I get them at night too, but mine is always in the calf muscle, not the foot. I honestly don't know what to tell you. Maybe you should talk to your Dr. I know you have to be in horrible pain.
It's so cute to watch the little ones bowl. My 8 yr. old grandson has been bowling for 3 years and he loves it. I love watching him.
You take care and I hope you can sleep better tonight. Saying a prayer for you.
