BLESSED!

Good Sunday morning and I hope you will join me in going to church to worship the Lord and ask for continued blessings in our lives.

I have two cell phones.  An old flip phone, and one of the new 4G phones that do it all.  For the new one, I pay $79.00 a month and everything is unlimited, texting, long distance, camera, the works.  The flip phone had Internet, texting, and unlimited long distance too.  I called my carrier and told them I had a computer and a Kindle Fire and I didn't need all that same thing on the cell phone too.  She switched me back to the old flip phone and took off all that extra stuff, and now my rate per month is now $29.95.  That extra $50 a month will buy groceries or gas for my car. All I do with the cell is use it for an emergency.  I can do all that other stuff on my computer or Kindle.  And I am due an upgrade on the phone in March, so I feel I came out the winner.

Gotta luv our kids!
A mother took her little boy to church.
While in church the little boy said, “Mommy, I have to pee.”

The mother said to the little boy, “It’s not appropriate to say the word ‘pee’ in church. So, from now on whenever you have to ‘pee’ just tell me that you have to ‘whisper’.”

The following Sunday, the little boy went to church with his father and during the service said to his father, “Daddy, I have to whisper.“

The father looked at him and said, “Okay, just whisper in my ear.”

  1. Cell phones can really strain the wallet! Glad you were able to change that!

  2. I know these new "smart phones" with all the bells and whistles are a real strain on the budget. When we get the bill each month, I rethink my decision to get the iPhone. But I really like it.
That was a cute story about the little boy. Got my first chuckle of the day. Thank you.
I hope you have a great day.

  3. I like my smart phone, too, but the monthly bill is atrocious. When our contract is up, we will be rethinking our plan, too! Hope you are having a good Sunday!
