I am not going to church. I did get some relief with the new pain medicine and the anti-nausea pills, but am still limping, and walking bent over for comfort. I just keep hoping that after the epidural on Wednesday, I will be half way normal again....am praying for that anyway.
Got a message this morning that my Pastor had been in the ER all night. He went out to take their dog for a walk, and tripped over his nephew's skateboard. He has 3 broken toes and the bone in the top of his foot is broken in several places. He will be in my shoes with pain for sure. Bless his sweet heart, I know he is thinking...I don't need this, but sometimes God stops us so that we can re-group or re-think our lives at that moment.
Jim isn't feeling well at all either, so doubt he will try to go on to church. We are a "sickly" bunch aren't we? lol Better days are ahead.
Our middle daughter, Jennifer and her two girls came by yesterday afternoon. They brought homemade chicken soup and a picture she had gotten made for us for Christmas, but it didn't come in on time. It is on canvas....love it!

How could I wish or ask for more?

Will guide me till my journey’s o’er. — Fraser

Hi Linda! Glad to hear you have some relief from the new meds, but sorry you are still in pain. Praying for you!! Sorry to hear about your pastor. He will be hobbling around for awhile! Glad it was just his foot, anyway. That is a lovely photo collage! What a nice gift! I wish you a restful and comfortable Sunday. Hugs!!
