Everyone is talking about the Daylight Savings Time....some like it, others don't, others, like me, just wish for one time and stay with it. I did set my clocks last night, so it was no problem for me getting up this morning. I am not a night owl, so I don't feel like I lost an hour of sleep.

We did go watch Aryn play on the new AAU basketball team yesterday and they played a high school team out of Georgia. The team from Georgia is actually where my middle daughter, Aryn's aunt, teaches. Small world. Aryn's team beat them in a big way.

We felt a littLe sorry for the school teams however, because the AAU teams are the best of the best from different school teams around the area, so you have super stars, so to speak, playing regular school teams. Does that make sense? These AAU teams play only after school ball is over and all summer until school begins in the fall.  In Georgia, school teams can play, but in Tn., you can only have 3 from same school.

This 'playday' was held at a middle school. Outside the gym was this neat bench, and of course I welcome any chance to take a picture---

After we left Cleveland, we came back to Chattanooga and had dinner at the Longhorn Restaurant.  The steak was super tender and yummy.  I was so glad not to have to cook and clean up.....well, Jim cooks and I clean up!  lol

Church day for us, so will leave you with Romans 10:10, "For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."  NO OTHER WAY!!!

  1. Good Sunday, Linda! So glad to hear Aryn's team won and that you got to see the game. The bench you photographed is awesome! How great that the tree was preserved in a way that everyone can still enjoy it. I am a morning person, too, but I really do feel the time change. Maybe it's my attitude that needs to change!! I just wish we would stick with standard time.
