DAY BY DAY!

This is my prayer for today, and every day of my life.  My Pastor's message last night was from Psalm 25:1-9, with the emphasis on verse 5. "Lead me in thy truth, and teach me, for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day."

I do pray that He will lead and guide me all the days of my life.

Yesterday I bought groceries and feel I got enough to last a month.  By the time I shopped, came home and unloaded, I was totally wiped out. Whew, I just cannot do things as easy as I used to do.  I sat down to rest and recoup, and about that time, in came my grandson, Jesse.  He started kindergarten last week and will start full time today, so he visited for a couple of hours.  I walked into the kitchen to get something and came back to my computer and lo, and behold, he was fast asleep! (which I wish I had been)  Children are so innocent and sweet when they are asleep, aren't they?  lol

Today Jim has physical therapy and I will go for my echo-cardiogram.  The weather is wonderful, with low humidity and it is 66 right now.....love it!  I will leave you with a funny this morning, and wish you a wonderful Thursday.

I have received many remarkable nature photos over the years, but this is a photo of a nesting Falcon and is probably one of the most unusual shots of all times.  I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.  Nature is truly breathtaking!

  1. The photo of your grandson taking a nap is precious.
I love my Grandson and this photo makes me want to hug mine right now. He, too, is in kindergarten. They are indeed sweet....

  4. That's funny... the Falcon. I think that's what a friend sent me in an email the other day. I was afraid to open the picture so I didn't see it, just the title. LOL
Another excellent verse to say daily. ** Your grandson looks so cute. Their day in school is tiring for them. My grandsons would fall asleep like that too. And our trips to the grocery store is just as tiring for us. I feel like napping when I get home too. ** I pray you get a good report on today's echo. I'll be thinking of you. God's blessings on you both. ♥

  5. I so love the Falcon in the tree. Hopefully, if grew up with the tree, and that it wasn't a tornado or flood that put it there! Quite interesting, for sure.

Chattanooga has such a lovely skyline and the surrounding beauty can't be beat. You live in a little bit of God's front yard, there.

Jesse is adorable - and he kept his boots off the furniture! Good man!! Hope you got to take a nap, too, and congrats on the mega-grocery shopping!
