TAKE ME AWAY!

The title picture today is Lake Louise, Banff National Park. This is my kind of water - surrounded by mountains, and the water is so crystal clear, you think you could see the bottom. Calgon, if you are going to take me away, take me there!

 On Pinterest this week, they posted national parks around our country and Canada, and they are all so incredibly beautiful, it was hard to choose which one to use as my title picture this morning, so expect to see many more in the days to come.

It is tax free weekend in Tennessee.
2013 Sales Tax Holiday: August 2-4
Sales Tax HolidayThe State of Tennessee's Annual Sales Tax Holiday is
held every year on the first Friday in August and ends the
 following Sunday night. This year's tax-free holiday
 weekend begins at 12:01 a.m on Friday, August 2 
 and ends Sunday, August 4 at 11:59 p.m.
All parents look forward to this weekend, to buy school clothes and all school supplies.  So unless one has to get any of these, my advice is to stay home out of the crowds....it gets wild!

 No plans for me today or this weekend, other than church on Sunday and maybe a nap or two. I will be petting my back and hip.  They aren't playing fair these days.

    Our area doesn't do that sales tax holiday...I've heard of it before and I'm jealous!

    I've been to Lake Louise...in high school on choir tour. BREATHTAKING!!!!

      It is on what you might call, 'my bucket list' and I am jealous...lol Doubt now I will get to go, but maybe the crystal waters in Heaven will be similar.

    Such a beautiful picture of the nat'l park. And I love your background. There's so many beautiful places like this and I know I'll never see any of them except in pictures. As for Calgon, it doesn't work. lol ** Ohio doesn't do the tax free days either. Our state house might go under without our tax money for a couple days. Government = greed.

    What a beautiful place! Just gorgeous and looks so peaceful! We have a tax -free week, too, starting today. Lots of sale ads in the paper, too. You are right...not a good time for normal shopping!

    Sorry your back and legs are hurting again. When can you get your next epidural?

    The tax free weekend sounds nice...wish we had one! The picture is beautiful as well as your background....makes one feel bubbly.
