The renewal of our front porch is coming along nicely. The only thing left to do is paint the posts, clean the furniture and place back on the porch. This picture shows the furniture that needs attention and the second picture shows the porch painted and waiting!
The furniture is white rockers and my new little black table. I am going to buy some bright yellow mums to put on the table and also on a tree stump out in the front yard. That will be my fall decorating.
Jim said he woke up at 3 am, starving to death, and at 7:30, he was dressed with cap on, and said he was going to the grocery store to get something to eat for breakfast. I have yet to figure out what he will bring home, as we have eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, oatmeal, grits and bread for toast. Maybe something new has been invented.
Changing bed, laundry and making some more homemade ice cream is on the agenda for today.

I love the teal blue color, Linda! I also really miss having a front porch. So many wonderful memories of evenings on the porch, swinging and talking with friends who dropped by. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteI ALMOST got a sweater to wear to work this morning, but knew it would be back up in the 80s by the time I leave work. The humidity is gone for a few days, and it was 63 this morning! Felt wonderful!
Please share a "finished" photo, once you get everything done. It will be beautiful - a showplace for sure!!
It's suppose to be really cool here tonight. Hope that's true. I so enjoy sweater weather too.
ReplyDeleteThose are great colors on the deck. It's nice a big too. The colors on our two back decks are very similiar : dark green floor, yellow & white chairs and tables, Plus I put oodles of windchimes. Me and my windchimes! They're everywhere. ~:)
