A picture is worth a thousand words
when it comes to the “W Road”!
I am sure everybody gets so tired of me writing about my grandchildren, but they are the highlight of my life these days. I guess most grandparents feel the same way. Aryn's volleyball team won the District last night, beating a major rival, Notre Dame High School. She also made the All-District team. Now, they host the Regional Tournament next week. So proud of her and the whole team. She is the one in the white shirt, and from the look, they are all pretty excited.
Doctor visit for follow up from Jim's surgery today and then church tonight. Son is still working on front porch and will paint today. Once it is finished, I will take a picture and post.
Two more cards from Postcrossing. One from Frankfort, Germany and the other from The People's Republic of China. The guy that sent the Germany one said his city looked a lot like New York City!
My Pastor loves to hunt and fish. He is preaching a revival in West Virginia this week, and his sweet wife posted a picture this morning that he got a 'ten pointer'! That is 'deer', not human! I know that makes him happy, so when he comes back home, he will be excited for sure...lol
Never miss an opportunity to make others happy,
even if you have to leave them alone in order to do it

Ha! I have been on that road! Def. death dfying if you ask me, but you didn't, lol. I NEVER tire of reading about your family. Congrats to your granddaugther. Blessings
ReplyDeleteThat's quite a road! I'd be a nervous Nellie driving on it. :)
ReplyDeleteI never get sick of hearing about your grandkids - they are so important to us!
The scenery is beautiful, but I'm a coward when it comes to roads like that one. I couldn't drive it.
ReplyDeleteNo need to apologize for talking about the grandkids. I don't get tired of reading about them. I'm a grandma too and I'm tempted to do the same as you. You have reason to be proud of them. From my viewpoint, they're great kids. Congratulations to Aryn and her team. That's a great picture. Look at her face! Priceless. That one is a keeper and suitable for mounting.
Your pastor does look happy... but he "killed Bambi". :(
hahaha
[OK, hold your ears] OMGoodness, THE ROAD LOOKS LIKE SO MUCH FUN! I gotta ride it. My Suzuki V-Strom loves curves.
ReplyDeleteAryn looks so happy. She's a nice looking young lady. I can see why you're so proud of the grandkids. :)
Yay, it's deer season here too. I love a fresh slap of vension for the table. I enjoy hunting too, especially bird shooting. We have a joke around here and say we want our "free deer" this year. As you know, it's not free after purchasing hunting licenses, rifles, ammo, clothing, hunting club, clothing, etc. [lol]
Hope y'all had a nice church meeting.
And love the saying at the end! [ha ha]
That W road looks like it might make you dizzy!! I can't imagine a truck driving trying to tackle that! Hope the heed the sign! Congrats to Aryn and her team. Brag away, Linda! I love hearing about them and their accomplishments!
