THURSDAY

I cant think straight until I have had that hot, black liquid x 2.  Talk about addicted - I am.  Guess if that is the strongest thing I am addicted to, I am ok!

Hopefully, I am going to get my mums for the porch today.  For some reason, I am not very motivated.   Maybe it is the 'lull before the storm' or waiting on winter to come. Bills are paid, food in the fridge, a bed to sleep in and all of my children and grandchildren are healthy and happy, so what is it with me? Maybe it is the state of this great country.  Do you ever get that feeling?  Nothing wrong so why do I feel so blah?

Crescent Roll Pizza
Self explanatory recipe!

Scarves seem to be at the peak of style these days, and are expensive to buy, so I decided I would make my own.  I found the following site which is as 'plain as day' and 'easy as pie' to make.  Thought you might want to give it a try too!

More about Jesus let me learn,
More of His holy will discern;
Spirit of God, my teacher be,
Showing the things of Christ to me.
The fruit of the Spirit grows in the soil of obedience.

  1. Good Morning Linda! Yep, I get that way too..honestly..I think it is what is going on (or lack of) whats going in DC. Worried that were not going to be paid in 2 weeks is weighing heavy on us. I know..God says not to worry. It is hard not too. Blessings

  2. Good morning, dear friend! I feel the same way about my coffee! I can drink it black, with cream, with sweetener, or even cold. Just give me my coffee! LOL

I found some very nice scarves at (gasp) Walmart! I got one for $4.00 and one for $6.00. I doubt you can make one for those prices. The $6.00 one is an infinity. The $4.00 is wide enough to be a shawl if needed. Check them out next time you are there. No one will know where they came from!

Yes, I get those feelings now and then. You know something isn't right, but can't put your finger on what is bothering you. Can make me nuts. Count your blessings, that usually works for me.

Wishing you a good week! Love & hugs.

  3. I get those feelings often. Nothing is wrong physically so for ME I figure it has to be a mental thing. lol
I'm going to check out that web site. I've been thinking of making me a shawl but I've procrastinated long enough that I'll need a winter coat before I could wear it.
    You have a good day.

  4. I've had my cup of coffee this morning....sat in the swing in the back yard...and am enjoying the day.
Like you, if my Grands and my family are well, I am happy!
    Hugs to you,
    Jackie

  5. Same here about feeling blah about the country.

I wish I didn't have to give up caff. coffee. I have MVP (Mitral Valve Prolapse) and giving up the caffeine really helped keep the fluttering down to a minimum.

Thanks for the pizza idea. It looks yummy. We've thought about making some with whole wheat tortilla roll ups.

Scarves we so "in" during the '80s. I still have mine. To buy more, I've been going to thrift shops and such. I found one place that was selling them for a couple of bucks a piece, nothing wrong with them! Cool deal. ~:)

  6. I get that way to, and I think the state of our country has a lot to do with it.
I love scarves, but 'm not good at figuring out what to wear them with. They don't seem to go with most of my clothes.
