I really don't have any news to share. Jim and I rode through the battlefield and saw at least 25 deer, and 3 bucks with good sized antlers. That is what Jim always wants to see - a buck! He got his wish.
Hope everyone has a great day.

ReplyDeleteThat was a huge drop in temperature. It's always a shock crawling out from under the warm blankets in the morning. I felt the same way this morning.
ReplyDeleteI love to see the deer in the fall. The bucks always look so majestic, regal, king, whatever you want to call them. They're beautiful animals.
You take care and have a good day.
Good morning, just got back from getting my hair cut, I went five weeks, but that's a little too long when I like it short like I wear it.
ReplyDeleteGoing to steal your poem and share on my blog for Thanksgiving. Ours will be smaller then usual this year, some are going to Fl for that week, but the nice thing is the five of them will get to spend some time with their brother that lives in Fl. They are all going to meet at the condo the five are renting,
So that leaves, two daughters here and two grandchildren here, but the one daughter has to work 8 hrs. at the hospital, it was suppose to be 12, but she asked for 4 hours off early, which they take from her vacation time or she doesn't get paid. This is the daughter that will be pinned in Dec. and then take her RN test and she'll become and RN, make more money then a PCT, which is basically what we use to call Nurses Aids.
Thanks for your visits to my blog.
Hot and humid here. No cold toes. Glad you got out and about though. Such beautiful country to drive through, and it's nice that Jim got to see three buck while you were out. The Thanksgiving alphabet makes for a good reminder!! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteIt never got pass 33* here today, Linda. AND we had snow showers. I guess that is expected though, lol. We love the Battlefield. None of us speak when we go through. I think we owe that to the men who died. Love your Thanksgiving alphabet. Have a blessed evening.
ReplyDeleteLinda, my son in law told me one time that it was a cemetery and we should honor those buried there. I get a funny feeling every single time we go.
DeleteChilly here too, but no snow!
ReplyDeleteWe had 16 this morning. I hate cold floors!!! Love my slippers, they are so worn out I need a new pair. Maybe santa will bring them!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's cold here too! I'm sitting here with socks and slippers on so my feet aren't too cold, but my fingers are freezing!
