I know everyone can't have a maid or have a physician that takes care of her and only her, or an elaborate bed to give birth in, but honestly, can you imagine riding so far, knowing your baby was to be born just any time, and there was no room in the inn and you had to go to the barn, give birth and then put that precious baby in a manger filled with straw? The smell of animals all around and possibly a cold night; no doctor; no family waiting to see the baby.
God sent his only Son, on that blessed day, so that all who came after and even some that came before, would not have to live and die, but that a unworthy people could go to Heaven when they died. It never ceases to amaze and humble me, and it is new every Christmas.
I pray everyone who reads this blog entry today will stop and thank our Heavenly Father for giving His Son to us, and will worship Him the other 364 days of the year.
Thank you Linda..Merry Christmas. Keeping in our prayers.
