I don't know how you feel about this subject, but just know, this is my opinion and only mine. I heard something on tv yesterday that broke my heart. Robin Roberts on GMA is gay and has been with her partner for 10 years. I have enjoyed watching her on that show, prayed for her while she was battling cancer and she is truly a delightful person. Don't get me wrong...she is still the same delightful person in front of the camera, but knowing how she lives her life, is a disappointment to me. Nuf said!
Jim is stable for the moment, now it is me. My back and legs are beginning the course of pain, leading to another epidural. I was so in hope I could get through the holidays without pain, and I did, so not complaining, just have done it so often, I can tell the moment it starts. Just hope Obamacare will still allow me to have these shots.
Our mid week church service is tonight and I am looking forward to that. We wont stay for the snacks and games, but will be safe and snug at home to welcome the new year.
I saw that on the news too..like my husband said, "Linda..was there any doubt?" Sadly..I agree with you Linda. I also just read that the Rose Parade is going to have a AIDS Float and it is going to peform a gay marriage on TV! Oh my gosh..anyways..sadly..the worldy views are seeping in..praying for you and Jim. Happy New Year. (feel free to delete my post if you find it to offensive.)
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely agree...it is truly a sad world we live in, but there is a much, much better one awaiting on us in Heaven. That is what keeps me going on.
DeleteI heard it and was also sad. I've always liked her and still do, but disagree on this part of her life. I was more disgusted when I saw a news clip where Michelle Obama was congratulating her and telling her "We are all proud of you".

Some how blacks, baby killers and homosexuals have been granted sainthood, like they're to be admired or something. Well, not from this corner! Whether the world likes it or not, homosexuality is a sin and to be fled from. Just like adultry, cheating, stealing, lieing, murder, etc. I'll bet they don't have a float honoring any of those sins! I'm so thankful that most people who profess Jesus Christ do NOT admire any of these traits.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear you have to endure another epidural. If you're not signed up for ObamaCare, it shouldn't effect you. Not yet. I really truly believe it's coming apart at the seams and (hopefully) will be defunct by the time BO is back in Kenya. Happy to hear of Jim's improvement. It's amazing how many of our friends have upper respiratories this year. A lot!

I don't know Sparky but if Duck Dynasty is at any loss for words, Sparky could do a show with them. If all this grieves our hearts, how much more is our Lord saddened....... And sorry about your back pain - - - was hoping your epidural would last longer. How is the hand doing? Please give us an update again sometime. Happy New Year!

It is a sad time we live in now. There have always been homosexuals, but they weren't worshiped and awarded (nor were so many things that are today). It is not for us to judge, and we don't have to hate the sinner - just the sin. I agree with you, Linda.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry you are experiencing pain again. My back has been hurting for almost two weeks, and my pain is nothing compared to what you must be feeling. I see the chiropractor on Thursday, thank goodness! Hope you can call and get that appointment soon. Prayers!!
