BUSY TIME!
We had a wonderful time at our daughter's house last night. The fellowship was great, the food was so good, and everyone was in a festive mood. My daughter is so organized that everything went on without a hitch!
My oldest granddaughter painted mugs for her grandmothers. Notice mine has an "N" on it...that is for Nana! I am sure putting it to good use this morning.
Some of the other pictures from last night.........I didn't get pictures of all 5 of their Christmas trees! lol
It was so warm that many of us ate out on their deck. Notice what is hanging over the mantel.....that is important to all of us! Jim was able to go and seemed to enjoy being there.
Today is a special day at our church as we will have the Christmas Cantata. They have been practicing for at least two months, so it should be really good. Hoping Jim can go to church this morning.
Have a blessed day and remember the reason for this season.
Good morning! So glad you were able to go and enjoy your family!

ReplyDeleteThose are wonderful photos and I'm so glad Jim was able to join in the festivities. I hope he continues to improve. Y'all do have a lovely family. Blessings to you all!
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed those pictures! Praying that Jim is feeling better!
ReplyDeleteDaughter looks like she has a beautiful home. And lovely children, not sure if they are all hers, or if she's an aunt to some of them.
ReplyDeleteGlad Jim felt well enough to go along. That might have been just what he needed to lift his spirits. I'm hoping it didn't take too much out of him and he was able to go to church with you. I would like to have seen a few of the parents and grandparents. Maybe next time. Merry Christmas
Glad to hear Jim is perking up a bit. Don't let him overdo!! Merry Christmas to the both of you.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos! My mom always sang in the Christmas Cantata. I have many fond memories of that!
