Hope everyone is rested and ready for a new week. A week of up and down temperatures, some rain, some snow, but all in all - winter!
Have a slightly busy day. First is my Sunday School class meeting at noon. I made a jello salad to take (we all bring a dish and the one who holds the meeting is responsible for the meat, drinks and bread). Then will pick up my granddaughter and grandson when they get out of school and keep them until their Mom gets in from work. My son, their Dad, goes to work before his wife gets in, so we are the 'go between'. Then once everyone is in their right place, we will go to Aryn's basketball game at 6:30.
I will call ortho doc today to schedule an epidural. The sciatica is screaming and the pain is unbearable. For any of you that have not had this problem, the pain can hit at the strangest times...standing at the kitchen sink, or bending over to pick up something. When the pain hits, it is awful and I just have to stand still until it passes. The more often it comes, lets me know it is time for a shot in the old spine. I have had so many of these you would think another wouldn't bother me, but any time you are put to sleep is a risk. I covet your prayers for another success.
Hey, Linda..how did you get that picture of me (the monkey,lol)?--so sorry friend you are in pain. Praying you will get relief. Stay warm and drive safely. P.S. Love Jello!!!
ReplyDeletePraying for you, Linda. Hope they can get you in quickly. Enjoy your busy day! I know how you love your SS class, so that will be fun for you. Good luck to Aryn and her team tonight! Let us know, please, how it goes!
ReplyDeleteGood morning, Linda! You are in my prayers and I hope your doctor can get you in quickly! Your day certainly sounds busy but fun at the same time! Have a wonderful and blessed week, my friend!
ReplyDeleteP.S. I got a good chuckle out of the picture at the top of your blog..LOL!
ReplyDeleteI'll be keeping you in my prayers, sciatic pain is terrible! Hal just went through a bout of it, and like you said, it can come on suddenly.
ReplyDeleteOh that picture of the monkey had me in stitches :) But my dear Linda, I am so sorry about the pain you are having! You will be in my prayers, sweet friend.
ReplyDeleteMay your week be full of joy and blessing. Hugs to you!

ReplyDeleteHa Ha. Sorry your'e not sleeping, but the photo is funny! Prayers for a successful procedure!.
ReplyDeleteLove the picture! Hope you enjoyed you SS class meeting.
ReplyDeleteHoping too that you can get in soon for your procedure, pain is
terrible...how long do the shots work?
I hope you get in quickly. It seems you had to have one not too long ago, but at least they help.
ReplyDeleteHope you had fun with your class and are enjoying that game.
Oh yes. I am plagued with sciatica, though mercifully, I have avoided this remedy. My remedy involves an iced gel bag and a recliner. May you get some relief soon! (Thank you for popping by my place today.)
ReplyDeleteOMGoodness, the picture is me today! What is it about today?! Seems like others are tired and worn out too. I'm so sorry to hear you're in pain again. I PRAY with all my heart that the doctor(s) can help. I lived with pain like that for years. I sympathize.
ReplyDeleteHeartfelt prayers for your healing. Y'all stay warm up there! ~:)
So sorry you have to go for a surgery again but will be happy for you to be pain-free. It's no way to live being in more than discomfort all the time or much of it.
