Hope everyone is having a good week. Nothing terribly exciting going on here except very cold weather.
The basketball game Tuesday night was cancelled due to bad weather. The other team had to go up and down two mountains to get to Aryn's school, and it was spitting snow and icy roads. I know that doesn't sound like much to those of you that live in the midwest or north, but for us, it is serious. So they are going to try to play the game tonight and we are planning on going to see it.
We are going to have pancakes and bacon for breakfast so I had better close this and get to it!

I love that cartoon, and my mittened hand, here in the Mitten state is also raised! I'd rather have a game cancelled then risk the safety of drivers, make good sense to me!

ReplyDeleteWhoohoooo!!! So happy you are back on-line, Linda!! I would say they made a good call, to cancel the game. Those mountains are treacherous any time, but especially when they are icy. I LOVE having breakfast for dinner. Yum.
ReplyDeleteThat cartoon sure fits for folks up north! I'm starting to get a bit weary of the cold but it has it's purpose. Don't know what it is yet, but I'm sure there's a purpose.

If I had known about the breakfast menu earlier, I might have tried to find you!!! We make those about every other Saturday morning. I put applesauce and cinnamon in my batter. Also, I have leftover pancakes in the freezer that can just be heated up - - and the already cooked bacon. It's a yummy meal.
