If this is Thankful Thursday, I will be thankful if this post doesn't disappear like it did yesterday!
I am thankful for my friends here and your sweet comments. I feel like the things I post are silly to anyone but me, but I post them and you always say something so nice, I sometimes sit here and wonder......how did I find such sweet, thoughtful people.
Another endorsement for a product. Have you ever used the brand of coffee called 'Community'? I don't know about the cups for Keurig, but the old way by the pound. I was hooked on Dunkin Donuts for over a year now, but it is very expensive, so tried 'Community' and I do believe it is my favorite now. It is $5.98 at Walmart for a pound and that is much better than the $7.99 Dunkin.
Waaaaaaaaa, my sciatica is acting up and it is so painful. Another thankful point---my last epidural lasted four months, as some only last a month or two. Won't be long until I make that call to the doctor.
My newest picture. I am interested in loading Skype and using it....do any of you use it on a regular basis? Is there a charge? Do you have Windows 7 or 8 or 8.1?
That should be enough of my dribble for today. Thank you again for just being you and being there.
Never heard of the coffee, but next time I'm in Walmart- which might be a long time...I'll try to remember to check it out. I like your photo. I don't use Skype because since I use a Chromebook, it only runs Google programs so I have to use Google Hang-out. Hang-out works quite good for the most part, there's always the chance of a weather problem or what-have-you, but more often than not it runs smoothly. One friend of mine also uses Skype and she says she likes Hang-out better. Hang-out is free, all you need is a Google account.
ReplyDeleteI had to give up caffeine because of my heart so I'll share with my friends about Community coffee. Thanks for letting us know!
ReplyDeleteThat's a good photo. Don't use Skype and probably never will. The older I am, the more curmudgeon I get and the less I like technology. [lol]
Thank YOU for being there too!
God bless. ~:)
I think you find sweet and thoughtful people because you are that way yourself!
ReplyDeleteI've used Skype a lot. When our son was in the army, especially during his year in Korea we used it weekly. It's free and I've used in on Windows 7 and 8.
I agree with Mari...you are so sweet and kind...I always look forward to seeing what you up are up to each day!
ReplyDeleteAnd I love the new picture! Beautiful. : )
Very nice picture. I buy Master Blend (Blue metal container, also $5 something). I like Community, I do believe that is from New Orleans. I think Skype is not free, I know Liam tried the free version for a while, then he took it off. He uses FB chat to talk to his gal pals/pals in Alabama. Blessings
ReplyDeleteGood morning! So glad to see that Blogger didn't gobble your post and comments today!
ReplyDeleteIt is always lovely to be here...to chat with you, my friend. You are a sweet lady, and who doesn't love to be around kind people. We know where to come to find a smile...a ray of sunshine.
No. I haven't tried that coffee. I've actually never heard of it. I will see if Kurig has that for its coffee maker. Thank you for the recommendation.
May the blessings of the day be bountiful for you and yours.
Love,
Jackie
I meant to tell you that I love your photo!
ReplyDeleteSuch a great photo of you Linda!! I have never used Skype but my kids use it and love it! I have never had Community coffee before. If it is anything like Dunkin Donuts..it has to be great! And can I just say that I feel so blessed to have your friendship?!! You are such a kind soul..Hugs to you!!
ReplyDeleteI'm thankful for you too. You are a dear lady and I always look forward to 'visiting' with you.
ReplyDeleteI haven't heard of that coffee either. We've cut back on our caffeine and only drink Folger's Half-Caf.
I don't use Skype. I use Google Hang-out. In fact it was Julie that got me started with it. That's what her and I use for my piano lessons. We've had some problems when the weather is bad, but I'm sure the reception for Skype would be affected too. But I'm satisfied with Hang-out, and it's free.
I like your new photo. You have a great smile.
Hope you have a good day.
Your photo is simply lovely! And I thoroughly enjoyed your post :) I don't use Skype so I can't offer any information - sorry. I do hope you have a blessed weekend! Hugs to you
ReplyDeleteLinda, I love your new photo!! I also love you, and treasure our friendship!! I so look forward to seeing you post each day. We have used Skype to talk with and see our son when he is overseas (Korea & Kuwait - worked fine), and we don't pay for it. I've heard that Google Hang-out works great, too. I like your background bling!! Love & hugs!
ReplyDeleteLove, love you picture...and the heart and soul behind it even more!
ReplyDeleteI've never used that brand of coffee, but I'm willing to try. I like 8 O'clock coffee too. Usually I buy what's on sale and keep adding it to the can...makes a good blend, LOL!
I don't personally have skpe set up, but have used it with friends. Seems to work great. I just haven't gotten around to setting my end up, too many other things to do like naps!
Hugs!
That is a great picture of you!!! We aren't coffee drinkers in our house - - no convictions against it - - just don't like the flavor but enjoy the aroma. Friends of mine have children who live quite a distance away and love Skype. Sciatica - - big bummer. Our younger daughter gets occasional attacks from it now. It started about the middle of her pregnancy. I'm thankful the epidurals have helped you though.
ReplyDeleteYou look marvelous!
ReplyDeleteYes, I have met some awesome people here on blogger.,we are all blessed.
Do you have a chiropractor for your back? Sometimes they can help with. I just found one yesterday, he is good and helped get me out of some pain yesterday. He works with many athletes with dr supervision and he takes x-rays. Prayerfully he will be able to help more in the long run.
God bless you and ease your pain.
Nice photo. and lol good we can laugh at ourselves I have Skype on my notebook I forgot my ID and password I gotta look it up but I'll let you know if you want to skype sometime :-)
