Sad about Shirley Temple Black.
We don't do mushy Valentines Day.
Another win for Aryn's basketball team, 60-59 and she scored 16, although she hurt her leg and coach took her out the entire 4th quarter.
All bills paid yesterday! Yay!
Did you see the twins separated at birth and found each other by chance?
Wish I had something exciting to post, but I just don't. When you sit in a recliner all day, nothing really fun comes your way.
How about those shoes? Do you remember them too? Take a nostalgic trip with me.
Today you are you! That is truer than true!
There is no one alive who is you-er than you!
I have the news on right now and the story is on about the sisters. Very cool!
ReplyDeleteI like that header picture. I remember several of those old things - fun!
Oh boy..do I ever remember alot of those things, lol. My son had been singing "Animals Crackers in my Soup" when he saw that she had passed on. Funny kid..lol--Praying you feel better..Blessings
ReplyDeleteLoved your post today..thanks for the nostalgic trip! I hope Aryn is back on the basketball court soon! You gotta love getting all the bills paid..Yay! We usually go out to dinner for Valentine's Day but this year we are going to be going to our camper for the weekend. Have a wonderful day, Linda!
ReplyDeleteI need to look up the news about the twins. Sounds interesting! Yes, I remember all those photos, shoes included, Linda. Times were sure simpler back then. Speaking of that, sad news about Shirley Temple Black. What a classy lady she was!! Stay in that chair, Linda, and take care!! Love & hugs.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the trip down memory lane. I could walk it every day and never get tired.
ReplyDeleteLove!
Oh, no, I remember Bobby Socks. Does that mean I'm old? *lol* We had a "fun fashion show" at school one year. I remember wearing a pair on the Runway along with the A-Line dress I handmade. (That must have looked hideous!)
ReplyDeleteShirley Temple Black loved America. She will be missed.
Hope you're feeling better today? My laptop has a virus or malware or something and acting wacky. I'm gonna go see if I can fix it ... *sigh*
God bless. ~:)
Shirley Temple was an American Icon. Sad to hear of her passing.
ReplyDeleteI did not know about the twins but just saw the segment on GMA. Wow! You would have thought that the parents might have said there was a twin. On the pics - - I had not thought about the phone booth in a long time. One thing good about them is you couldn't hear everything people said on the phone like you do now with cell phones.
ReplyDeleteShirley Temple - - - always seemed perpetual happy. Her movies were great.
