THE MIDDLE

We have always called Wednesday the middle of the week.  It must mean the 'work week'.  In reality, the middle would be the first half of Thursday.  It is entirely too early to be that profound!

Aryn's team played their all time rivalry, Notre Dame, last night and have not beat that team in 3 years.
That ended last night as Signal Mtn. won 53-32 and Aryn scored 19 points.  We did not get to go for various reasons but very happy for the girls.

Jim isn't feeling well, so we are low key as far as doing much or going anywhere.

I still did not hear from the orthopedic doctor or their scheduler.  If I do not hear today, I will call again.

Church tonight.

The rain has ended and it will be a cooler day.

Have you found your video of the past on your Facebook timeline page?  Several of my friends, both here in blog land, and in my city, have posted them on Facebook. Good memories.

The following picture never fails to enrage me when I see it.  How about you?  I can't believe someone would actually do that.  The article said it was a 'play pen'.  It was somewhere in Europe, but no matter where, horrible.  Parents should be arrested.
I will leave you with this:  Politicians and diapers have one thing in common. They should be changed regularly, and for the same reason!

  2. Congrats to Aryn and her team! Not only did they break the losing streak, they won big!! Good job, girls! I hope Jim is feeling better soon and I hope you hear back from your doctor's office today. That picture of the baby is just so wrong! What on earth were the parents thinking? Have a wonderful day, Linda!

  7. The photo looks like it's from either an earlier time or another country, but I don't care who might have installed it, I would never have let any of my children in it.

As for the MMT it stands for Makes Me Think.

Hope Jim gets to feeling better and you hear from the orthopedic doctor and all goes well for both of you.

We had more snow and they say more is coming this week-end. I need a nap, falling asleep here at the computer. Have a good day and yes, I have my video on Facebook.

  8. Congrats to Aryn and her team. That's great. Sorry you didn't get to go. Saying a prayer for Jim. Hope he recovers soon. I was also outraged when I saw that picture of that toddler hanging out there over the city. What if that structure fails? Horrible.
Yes, I saw my FB 'movie' and since I haven't posted many photos on there, it isn't very good. I'm not sharing it.
Hope you have a good evening at church tonight.

  9. I fully agree with your last statement!! So glad that Aryn's team beat their rival - by a bunch of points!! Sorry Jim is feeling bad, and that your doctor hasn't called back yet. Hopefully you will hear from them soon!! Enjoy your service tonight - I know you will. Stay safe, though!! Hugs.

  10. Hooray for Aryn's team!!! I know they were excited about that historic victory. Praying Jim is feeling better and you all stay warm in the cold weather. It is not a good or safe idea for that baby - - but it looks like a city and the parents were probably thinking it was a creative way for the child to get some fresh air and see some interesting sights. Hopefully the side going into the apartment was open and the child could crawl back inside when it wanted to.. I am not saying this was a good idea but just maybe that was their reasoning.
