DOCTOR VISIT!

We are headed to one of the doctors that Jim sees at 8 am.  This is a nurse practitioner that follows for the spine surgeon.  Jim's back surgery was over 2 years ago and we can't understand why we are still seeing this person, and are going to ask today.  She never does anything except ask him how he feels and charges an office visit.  We have to get back home as the physical therapist comes today too.

I didn't feel too well yesterday and am not sure I am any better this morning.  Maybe this is all catching up to me, and I just need some uninterrupted rest.

Church for me tonight and that is ALWAYS a blessing.

  1. I see this with some of our patients too - they keep making them come back for follow ups. When we ask, they usually say they can be seen by the primary care physician. Hope you feel better today.
PS - I love the new header shot!

  2. As you are looking forward to worship tonight, I pray for a wonderful visit at the doctor's office for Jim today.
I hope that you both have a beautiful day. Rest for you, and rest for Jim. I am praying now (early Wednesday morning) for him and for you. Hugs to you both.
    Love,
    Jackie

  5. Let us know how the nurse practitioner answers your question. You know, as I am finding out, that we have to be in control and ask those questions.

Worship tonight will lift your spirit, and hopefully allow a restful and restorative sleep.

Do keep us posted, and I hope a good rest is all that you need. Love & hugs.

  6. Doctors will do that, especially if the patient is on Medicare because they know they'll get that money. ** I hope you feel better soon and can get that much needed rest. The worship service tonight will be good for you. Have a good day, Linda. ♥

  7. YUP...we have to ask all kinds of questions of our health care professionals these days - it seems they will run all kinds of unnecessary tests and office calls.
