I am so thankful for heat in the winter and cool in the summer in my house. When I drive through town and see what appears to be "homeless" people, it makes me ten times as thankful and I immediately pray for them. They have family somewhere that cries and worries about them. Warmth and cool in my house means even more then.
Brunch this morning at 9...pictures to follow.
We took a drive yesterday and it was the first time I had been out of the house all week. The sun was shining and the sky was so blue. As most of you know, we have mountains all around us, and we were on top of the one behind our house - Racoon Mtn. Sometimes you can see "forever".

See the green arrow on the left? That is where my house is! |

breaks it.
Linda I LOVE LOVE LOVE your photos!! You truly live in one of the most beautiful areas of our great country! Brunch sounds so fun/good! Can't wait to see the pictures. I bet it felt so good to get out of the house and take that beautiful drive!
ReplyDeleteI didnt take one single picture...can you believe it? I dont know what happened....just was visiting and eating and never thought one time to take a picture.....shame on me! lol
ReplyDeleteThe pictures are just beautiful. That is awesome scenery in your part of the country. I've been in the area before, but just passing through with no pictures to prove I was even there. That's a shame. :)
ReplyDeleteI know the feeling of being 'house-bound' for a week. I'm sure it felt good to go for that drive. It always does for me.
Chattanooga is such a beautiful place, Linda. Your photos show such awesome views. I'm sorry you forgot to take pictures at the brunch, but understand completely. It's great that you got lost in the good food and the company. I'm so happy your pain has lessened enough to allow you to enjoy it. Praise God. Wishing you a good Sunday, my friend!! Hugs & love.
ReplyDeleteGoing to take my meds early in the morning in hopes I can make it to church. I miss it so much when I cant go. Hope your Sunday is a good day.
ReplyDeleteYou live in such a beautiful area and I thoroughly enjoyed your pictures tonight. So thankful you could get out and enjoy clear skies. I pray that you rest well and enjoy a blessed Sunday. Mildred
