WHAT DAY IS THIS ANYWAY?

........especially now, as the ground is wet, the driveways are wet, the porches are even wet.........so why wear shoes at all, they will just get wet too!  When it rains every day and you don't leave the house, you wonder what day of the week it really is!

Rant ------ I know the earth needs water and to a degree I understand, but days on end of rain just gets to me.  I am sick and tired of grey days and rain everywhere.  The ditches are full, the creeks are running over.  This house that we live in has flooded twice in years gone by, and one more time, would do it in.  My son's business is just nil in all this rain (he has a concessions trailer) and when you don't get to work, you get no pay and no pay means bad news.

I have been sitting here, trying to think of something funny or worthwhile to put on my blog today, but I just cant come up with anything, so I will call it done!

  1. Linda, I think we are all sick of grey days and rain! Terrible for people like your son who rely on good weather for good business. It will be hard to make up for all the down days, that's for sure.

Since I was off yesterday, Joe thought it was Sunday when he woke up this morning! It does throw you off.

Hugs & love sent your way.

    1. I am worried about Murphy and would like to ask that you pray for him, his business, his family in general. He told me this morning that God must be pulling a "Job" on him. Love you!

  2. The weather has a deep impact on all of us, but when you have day after day of rain, that's not good. I hope it stops soon. Your son is in my thoughts and prayers.
You try to have a good day, Linda. Kick off those shoes. How about going out and playing in one of those puddles? hahahaha ♥

    1. I am almost tempted to do just that - play in the puddles....at least it would break the monotony! lol

  3. Hi Linda, I think maybe your comments/replies are in black print and are not showing up.

It's raining heavy here and we are feeling kinda blue, too.

    Take care and think SUN!

  6. I was hoping to get some sun on my daughter's patio....I did for a few minutes yesterday...but it looks like rain today again. I hope your son's business picks up. Could he pick up some catering jobs for the rainy times?
