CATS!

Cats must be on my mind this morning.  My title picture with a cat, and then lo and behold, my Cali jumps up on my desk and proceeds to take a nap.

I do love her and her antics.  She never ceases to amaze me, and she is sooooo smart.  She knows when she does something bad, and her 'Mom' picks up a certain magazine, that danger is on the way and she quits whatever she is doing!  And she loves me unconditionally because after the magazine is down again, she immediately jumps in my lap and starts purring very loud!

Took Jim for his appointment yesterday successfully and the therapist was here when I left for the volleyball game, and time with my oldest granddaughter.  I love spending time with all of my grands and have been blessed to watch them grow and change and then change again.  The teams, both JV and Varsity won and it was a good start to the season.  I will get to see a couple of tonight's games via my computer.  Their school streams any sport in gym via useducationtv.  It is church night for me, so cant go to the games.

SMILE.........

DON'T MESS WITH THE ELDERLY

Doris Mason, a little old lady living in England, answered a knock on the door one day, to be confronted by a well-dressed young man carrying a vacuum cleaner.
'Good morning, Ma'am,' said the young man. 'If I could take a couple minutes of your time, I would like to demonstrate the very latest in vacuum cleaners.'
'Go away!' said Doris brusquely. 'I'm broke and haven't got any money for new fangled contraptions,' and she proceeded to close the door.
Quick as a flash, the young man wedged his foot in the door and pushed it wide open. 'Don't be too hasty,' he commanded. 'Not until you have at least seen my demonstration.' And with that, he emptied a bucket of horse manure onto her dining room carpet.
'Now, if this vacuum cleaner does not remove all traces of this horse manure from your carpet, Madam, I will personally eat the remainder.'
Doris stepped back and said with a smile, 'Well let me get you a spoon, young man because Southern Electric cut off my power this morning.'

  2. I got a chuckle and a shiver from that little story. Yuk. LOL
That's great you can watch the games on your computer. It's not the same as being there, but it's the next best thing. I think that's wonderful.
I love your cat pictures. Cali is smart. Magazines can be so much fun to play with, but when Mom rolls up one, it means she's in trouble. I did the same with my kitty. He learned fast. The header picture made me smile... so cute.
    Hope you're having a great day. ♥

  3. Awesome that you can catch the games on your computer! Not like being there in person, but they will know you watched! Glad things went well with Jim's appointment, and you know I love seeing your precious Cali girl.

I posted on my page, in a comment, that my appointment went fine! The path report showed benign and my incision has healed enough to go ahead and remove the steri-strips!! Praise God!
