Yayyyy, The Weekend!

I was surfing Pinterest and found my title picture.  Love the planters and they would be easy to do.  Buy a flower pot that you really like and use Rustoleum's glow-in-the-dark paint to paint the pot.  During the day, the paint will absorb the sunlight, and at night, the pots will glow.  I think that is such a good and easy idea and would be especially bright in the winter time with pansies, etc. in them.

Good morning.  What are your plans for the weekend? Jim just said we needed to get out and go somewhere, so breakfast first and then we will hit the road.  Happy Saturday.

  1. Good Morning!!!! I love your new background. I wish Blogger would go back to the Minima Template so the backgrounds/posts wouldn't show up as white (jmo of course, lol). Nothing going on here. We do have to go to the farm store to get dog food, thats it. It is the last weekend before the boy starts college! Have a great weekend, have fun. You & Jim have a wonderful time. Blessings

  2. I saw that idea and thought it was a good one too. I have the weekend off and after I get done checking things out here, I'm making some peach pies - one for us and a few for friends!

  3. Wow! I love your picture and background today. Beautiful colors. That's a great idea for planters. I love it.
No plans for us. I have to go out to Wal Mart --- again.......... I'm trying to find new curtains for my office here. Something to block out the hot afternoon sun.
I hope you and Jim have a great day. ♥

  4. Hi Linda! The glowing pots is a great idea! Here at our house, though, they would not have plants in them. I do not have a green thumb and would kill anything planted in a pot. Decorative mulch would have to do! LOL It's a great idea, and they look great. Let us know if you try to do one.

So happy that Jim feels like getting out. Enjoy your outing! We have sunshine this morning, but it feels like a wet blanket out there. No plans to go out in that weather until church tonight.

  5. The pots are really pretty - I would love to do that. Maybe someday when I get a proper deck.

  7. I have seen some pins where they paint stepping stones or bordering rocks.

Thank you for the tip on how to make them glow in the dark.
    Lovely....
I hope that you have a blessed Sunday. Like you, I will be in worship service and always receive blessing after blessing from being in the House of the Lord.
    Love to you,
    Jackie
