I took Jim to the coumadin clinic yesterday at one of the major hospitals here in town. They have a huge building project going on. I was parked and kept hearing this noise that sounds like grating or just a weird noise. I had my Kindle and was reading, but the noise kept getting louder. I finally looked out my front window and saw what was causing the noise and I was right under it.........
I couldn't decide whether to stay where I was or move to another parking spot! Needless to say, I stayed, but every time I looked up, it was right over me.
We went to church last night and it was especially good since we were side by side.
Goodness, if it isn't fires burning up hundreds of acres and destroying homes, businesses, etc., it is flooding, doing the same thing. We really need to be praying for the people as they are losing their homes, and everything they have.
Lord, it’s amazing to me that You, Almighty God,would want to spend time with me! Thank You.I stumble with my words at times but am in awe ofYou. Thank You that You want to hear from me.

Good Morning Linda. What a scary parking place you had (smiles). Happy to hear that Jim went to church, that sure makes a heart sing. Thank you for posting/sharing a prayer. Have a blessed day.
ReplyDeleteGreat blog post!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the expression on the squirrel's face. You got a great shot there!! Just tremendous.
And....I would have moved my car. For sure!!
Have a blessed remainder of the week.
Love,
Jackie
You are a woman of deep faith... I would have moved my car in a heart beat!!! Have a wonderful day!!
ReplyDeleteGood morning Linda... that overhead crane would be scary. I think I would have moved (I'm a coward)
ReplyDeleteSo good to hear your hubby went to church with you again.Thank you Lord for answered prayer.
I was just watching the weather channel and they showed pictures of the flood in CO. It is awful. One thing I never thought of... the flood water has changed the topography. Homes that once were sitting back from the river are now beach front properties. The rivers have been rerouted. I can't imagine that. Those poor people.
Hope you have a great day. ♥
Squirrels are a pest with our bird feeders. We bought metal feeders to thwart those cute little bushy tails. HA!
ReplyDeleteI think I would have moved over a bit in the parking lot but I'm a nervous Nellie (I'm probably spending too much time at YouTube watching disasters as they unfold?).
Happy to hear the churchin' made y'all happy.
We too are praying for all the victims of these natural disasters. May I please add, y'all please pray for those around the world tonight that are hungry, afraid, cold, lonely, wrongfully imprisoned and/or just need to hear the Word Of Christ. Thanks so much dear Saints in Christ! Seems like there are so many needy in the world.
That picture is adorable! I'm so glad you and Jim had a good time being together Wednesday night.
ReplyDeleteAll the tragedies going on in the world keep pointing to Christ coming again!
Love the picture! I hardly get up that close but your pic is adorable. Glad that both of you are enjoying church....I am really missing it.
ReplyDeleteI have been enjoying the cooler weather...something unusual for me!!! but I guess like everything else change is good. Have a great evening.
I think I might have moved my car...you were very brave! LOL
ReplyDeletePraise God that you and Jim are worshiping together again!
