FIRST DAY OF FALL!

Fall came to us in the form of rain.  I heard it begin sometime during the night and it is coming down pretty heavy now, and it is a grey day.

My granddaughter, Grayce, in the 6th grade of middle school, made the Student Council, and is so excited. She is very conscious of making good grades, plus being social too.  Her sister, Aryn is in the 10th grade, and she is on the high school Student Council.  Good girls.

Grayce also runs on the cross country team, and she came in 20th of 130 other kids running.  Her school also won the overall trophy and first place.

Jim went to the Men's Prayer Breakfast at church this morning in the pouring down rain....bless his heart.

My son is in the process of making a big decision.  He hasn't been doing well with his concessions trailer and has contacted a man he knows about getting out of the food business, selling the trailer, and working for this guy.  Murphy (my son) said he was tired of being the boss, and tired of losing instead of making money for his family.  I ask that you pray he makes the right decision.

Tennessee plays Florida today and it is always a huge rivalry, so guess I will be watching the game on TV, and listening to it rain.

As you can tell, I don't have much news today, so will wish you a good day and weekend.

Matthew 7:7-8Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

  3. We got the rain yesterday and all night. It was needed. It's clearing up now, but it's cool. Feels good.
Such wonderful news to hear your hubby went to the men's prayer breakfast.
Hoping and praying Murphy is lead in the direction God wants him to go. It's very hard to own a business in this economy. It's awful to watch all the small business people having to close up.
    Thank you, Mr. O. :(
Murphy is a smart man. He'll land on his feet.
Have a great day Linda. ♥

  6. Fall is just about to arrive here in SE Georgia. That is splendid news about Jim and the Grandkids. You have a lovely family! I will pray that your son makes only profitable decisions and that our Loving God & Saviour will watch out for all us. There will be dark days ahead for all us under the anti-Christ.
