I feel sure we are all very tired of the cold temp, the heavy snow, having cabin fever and one can only read so much and watch tv so much. I can only say that when one has to wear a scarf around one's neck or mittens in the house....that is too cold.
I really don't have any news or thought provoking info to share. All I know is that this country is in the biggest mess I have ever seen in my 72 years, and I don't mean the weather.
Ohhh I love the look here today, my friend!
ReplyDeleteNot much happening here either...
Peyton has a small cold...no complaints...I know many have it worse!
Cozy up and enjoy some of our Lifetime movies...did you see a Lizzie Borden one is on tonight at 8!
Sorry Peyton has that old nasty cold....and yes, I did see the Lizzie Borden movie will be on and I plan to watch it (if I can stay awake....lol)
ReplyDeleteAmen (and I am not referring to how cold it is where you are)! Hope things warm up for you soon.
ReplyDeleteI agree... I'm so sick of the cold-snow-cold-snow! It's like a roller coaster. I sure hope February is better. I want to see that movie too. I'm glad you and your friend mentioned it... I forgot.
ReplyDeleteYou take care and stay warm.
I'm sick of cold and snow too - and the mess that the country is in too.
ReplyDeleteTotal aggreeance in the country mess comment. We're expecting yet another winter storm..bitterly cold here. Blessings
ReplyDeleteIt's a bitter winter to be sure, temperature and politically speaking. The weather only reflects the countence of those who care of the direction the country is headed in. Will there be war? Will there be more of an Atlas Shrugs (giving up)? Perhaps a full scale revolution and going back to the Constitution? Or will sheeple just lay back and demand even bigger government. It's the uncertainty that's making me edgy. Did you know that 6.1 million white males did not vote last election!!?? Says something about our country, don't it.
ReplyDeleteThe graphic is cute. I like the giant salt shaker.
Y'all stay warm and safe up there.
God bless.

ReplyDeleteLinda, you picked a very cute background today! I can't comment on the cold and snow, because we are only chilly, here in Florida. I started the day with a sweatshirt on, but didn't need by afternoon. There were people out and about in shorts and sandals. (Sorry!)
ReplyDeleteI agree that our once great country is suffering something worse than just the flu. Hoping she can be revived at some point, but the longer we keep that traitor in the white house, the sicker we get. Should not even be in the white house, but at least should have been impeached and shot for treason a couple of years ago, along with most of his cronies. Guess that tells you where I stand on our current state of affairs.
That picture is soooooo pretty - - - even it if it cold there. We are in total agreement about the country, too. So many Scriptures can apply to it.
ReplyDeleteIt sure is, but we can all hope and pray it will get better along with the weather. Be careful going out tomorrow We're getting a little more snow. So what's new, huh? LOL
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty picture...and your header is gorgeous, Linda! I have to admit that I do love the winter; however, we have had temps of -41 here in Montreal in the beginning of January and that threw me for a loop! We had a mild day today but it is due to get very cold again tomorrow and throughout the week. Stay warm and safe.
ReplyDeleteI am so tired of this winter!! It has been one of the worse winters I can remember in a long time! As far as our country goes, my family has been very fortunate for the last 5 years. My husband is back to work and working overtime. My job is now secure and my kids have qualified for federal academic grants that were not available previously.
